Jadeye Korat Cattery

I started in the cat fancy in the early 90s showing my two European Shorthairs, Attila (EUR n) and Rebecca (EUR f). Until one day, reading a cat magazine, I noticed the most fascinating and special breed of cat ever. I imediatelly started looking for them and finally got the first couple in 1993.

My house is not a big one, so I keep the number of my cats limited to 3-4. A bit more where there are kittens, of course, but never to a number that would cause them troubles.
My kittens are usually born on my bed... in a box, yes, but the box must be on my bed because the "mothers" want it this way. They spend their first month in my bedroom where it is easier for me to hear, follow, take care of them, especially during the night.
When they are ready to walk, I usually move them to the "kittens' room" which I keep open for dad and mom to go in and out easily. This way they get used to the noice of the house and the people that come and go and get no scared of anything. The result is that they are usually very friendly and quite relaxed, also with strangers.

Until a few years ago I have used lines coming from the North of Europe, UK, and from the United States, but now my breeding activity is done almost exclusively with my own Italian bloodline.
I'm also quite proud to report that many of my Jadeye kittens are used for breeding by other breeders around the World. Jadeye babies can, in fact, be found in some countries of Europe, in the USA, Canada and Argentina!

All my kittens are sold after their fourth month of age together with their Vaccination booklet and a 'Sales/Contract Pledge' where I guarantee the health, the quality, the pureness of Thai origins and the buyer undertakes to follow some simple, but important rules to correctly 'breed it'.
